UIF (Universal Image Format) is used to compress and backup your CD and DVD content. The Advantage of UIF file format is, it allows you to encrypt, password protect and compress cd or dvd content along with ability to backup multiple session of CD/DVD, Audio-CD, VCD, SVCD and DVD-Video.

There are many utility and software are available for windows which allows you to open and convert UIF files to different file format. One such application is MagicISO and Power ISO. MagicISO is not freeware application but you can use 30 days trial version of MagicISO.
MagicISO and Power ISO lets you to Decompress UIF file.
keep the uif file anywhere on the disc. install magic iso which is not a free software but can be used for 30 day trial. after installing , right click on uif image ,under magic iso option select extract here option. it will decompress the uif file to standard format.

If you are using power iso then open the folder containing uif image. right click on it under power iso option select extract here option. it will decompress the uif file to standard ISO format.

I have tried to mound uif file with power iso it working perfect but MagicISO is also best and user frienldy
